\u96ea\u9686\u798f\u5efa\u6703\u9928<\/strong>\u8207Lostgens’\u7576\u4ee3\u85dd\u8853\u7a7a\u9593<\/strong>\uff0c\u662f\u53e4\u8de1\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u614b\u85dd\u8853\u5c55\u7684\u7b56\u5283\u55ae\u4f4d\uff0c\u9080\u8acb\u4e869\u4f4d\u4e0d\u540c\u5b97\u6559\u80cc\u666f\u7684\u85dd\u8853\u5bb6\u8207\u85dd\u8853\u5718\u9ad4\uff0c\u6839\u64da\u5409\u9686\u5761\u798f\u5efa\u7fa9\u5c71<\/strong>\u7684\u6b77\u53f2\u6587\u5316\u53ca\u74b0\u5883\u80cc\u666f\uff0c\u4ee5\u7fa9\u5c71\u70ba\u821e\u81fa\uff0c\u5728\u5c71\u4e0a\u9032\u884c\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u614b\u85dd\u8853\u5c55\u89bd<\/strong>\uff0c\u5c55\u51fa\u5be6\u666f\u88dd\u7f6e\u7684\u85dd\u8853\u4f5c\u54c1\u3002 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u53e4\u8de1\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u614b\u85dd\u8853\u5c55\uff0c\u4e0d\u50c5\u70ba\u50b3\u9054\u7fa9\u5c71\u662f\u751f\u547d\u7d42\u9ede\u7684\u843d\u8173\u8655\uff0c\u4e5f\u540c\u6642\u5c55\u73fe\u53e6\u4e00\u6bb5\u751f\u547d\u7684\u5ef6\u7e8c\u3002\u5c55\u89bd\u7684\u4f5c\u54c1\u5167\u5bb9\u5c07\u570d\u7e5e\u5728\u98f2\u6c34\u601d\u6e90\u3001\u6b77\u53f2\u8ffd\u6eaf\u3001\u6587\u5316\u50b3\u627f\u53ca\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u614b\u74b0\u5883\u7b49\u7b49\u4e3b\u984c\uff0c\u81f4\u529b\u65bc\u50b3\u9054\u591a\u5143\u3001\u591a\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6b63\u9762\u7cbe\u795e\u8207\u6b63\u80fd\u91cf\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association (SKLHA)<\/strong>, established in 1885, is responsible for the development and management of the Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Cemetery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For more than a century, this cemetery has been the final resting place for Kuala Lumpur Hokkien community including many prominent Hokkien leaders for more than a century. The part of the natural ecology of the cemetery has been preserved and it is now considered as a green lung for the city and a habitat for animals and plants. The cycle of history is intertwined with life, manifesting the cultural essence of the cemetery and its rich natural landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the guardian of KL Hokkien Cemetery, the Association is committed to protect the history, culture, environment, and spirit of this inheritance. This year, 2022, the Association is embarking on some pioneering ideas which are; the Heritage Nature Park Art Festival, painting and photography competitions, planting of native forest trees and beautification of the cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SKLHA in partnership with Lostgens’ Contemporary Art Space is planning a Heritage art exhibition in this historical cemetery. A total of nine (9) artists and art groups from diverse religious backgrounds have been invited to participate in the exhibition. The exhibits will make use of the cemetery landscape as the platform to show case the art works installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heritage exhibitions will attempt to show that while the cemetery may be the end of one\u2019s life journey, it is also the continuing point for other lives in different existence and planes. The work or theme of the exhibitions will focus on gratitude, tracing of history, cultural heritage and the natural and ecological environment. The exhibitions hope to capture and convey the diverse and multifaceted aspects and positive spirit of the cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
