\u201c\u5409\u9686\u5761\u798f\u5efa\u4e49\u5c71\u201d\u4e0e\u201c\u805a\u798f\u95a3\u201d<\/strong>\u662f\u6211\u95fd\u4eba\u7956\u5148\u7684\u5b89\u4e50\u4e61\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u534e\u65cf\u7cbe\u795e\u4e0e\u7269\u8d28\u6587\u5316\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u7470\u5b9d\u3002\u767e\u5e74\u6765\u5148\u8d24\u4eec\u5f00\u62d3\u5e76\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e86\u5df4\u751f\u6cb3\u6d41\u57df\u7684\u7e41\u8363\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u627f\u8f7d\u4f53\u73b0\u4e86\u5148\u8d24\u4eec\u7b5a\u8def\u84dd\u7f15\uff0c\u62ab\u8346\u65a9\u68d8\u7684\u575a\u97e7\u4e0d\u62d4\u7684\u5d07\u9ad8\u7cbe\u795e\uff0c\u8fd9\u90fd\u662f\u503c\u5f97\u6211\u4eec\u540e\u4eba\u53bb\u666f\u4ef0\u4e0e\u53d1\u626c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u82f1\u6b96\u6c11\u5730\u653f\u5e9c\u4e8e1920\u5e741\u670816\u65e5\u5728\u5baa\u62a5\uff08\u7f16\u53f7504\uff09\u9881\u5e03\u5409\u9686\u5761\u514b\u62c9\u6995 (Jalan&nbsp; Kerayong) \u5730\u533a\u4fdd\u7559\u4e3a\u798f\u5efa\u540c\u4e61\u846c\u5730\uff0c\u5373<strong>\u201c\u65e7\u98de\u673a\u573a\u8def\u5409\u9686\u5761\u798f\u5efa\u4e49\u5c71\u201d<\/strong>\uff0c\u9762\u79ef\u7ea6148\u82f1\u4ea9\uff0c\u7531<strong>\u5f53\u65f6\u96ea\u5170\u83aa\u798f\u5efa\u4f1a\u9986\uff08\u73b0\u4e3a\u96ea\u5170\u83aa\u66a8\u5409\u9686\u5761\u798f\u5efa\u4f1a\u9986\uff09<\/strong>\u7ba1\u8f96\u3002\u534e\u4eba\u91cd\u89c6\u5f80\u751f\u8005\u201c\u5165\u571f\u4e3a\u5b89\u201d \uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u4e3a\u5f80\u751f\u7684\u540c\u4e61\u63d0\u4f9b\u5893\u5730\u662f\u672c\u4f1a\u65e9\u671f\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u4efb\u52a1\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u6839\u636e\u8003\u5bdf\u63a8\u65ad\uff0c\u57281890\u5e74\u4ee5\u524d\uff0c\u5c31\u6709\u540c\u4e61\u846c\u4e8e\u6b64\uff0c\u8bc1\u660e\u6b64\u4e49\u5c71\u5df2\u6709\u8d85\u8fc7130\u5e74\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u9664\u6709\u4e0d\u5c11\u53e4\u5893\u5916\uff0c\u201c\u65e5\u636e\u65f6\u671f\u6b89\u96be\u540c\u80de\u7eaa\u5ff5\u7891\u201d\u3001\u534e\u6559\u6597\u58eb\u201c\u6797\u8fde\u7389\u5148\u751f\u4e4b\u5893\u201d\u4ea6\u5ea7\u843d\u4e8e\u6b64\u3002\u7531\u4e8e\u539f\u6709\u4e49\u5c71\u846c\u5730\u65e5\u5c11\uff0c\u7ecf\u672c\u4f1a\u8463\u4e8b\u4f1a\u79ef\u6781\u7b79\u63aa\uff0c\u653f\u5e9c\u4e8e1956\u5e74\u732e\u51fa<strong>\u65b0\u8857\u573a\u8def\u4e49\u5c71<\/strong>13\u82f1\u4ea9\u7684\u5907\u7528\u846c\u5730\uff0c\u5219\u4e8e1981\u5e74\u542f\u7528\u3002\u8fd9\u8d85\u8fc7\u767e\u5e74\u5386\u53f2\u7684\u798f\u5efa\u4e49\u5c71\uff0c\u4e0d\u4ec5\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e86\u5409\u9686\u5761\u548c\u5df4\u751f\u8c37\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u4e5f\u8bb0\u5f55\u95fd\u4eba\u5148\u8d24\u53c2\u4e0e\u56fd\u5bb6\u5efa\u8bbe\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u4e3a\u4e86\u89e3\u51b3\u846c\u5730\u77ed\u7f3a\u3001\u4f9b\u4e0d\u5e94\u6c42\u7684\u95ee\u9898\uff0c\u672c\u4f1a\u5386\u5c4a\u4f1a\u957f\u548c\u8463\u4e8b\u4eec\u5171\u540c\u7b79\u5efa\u8017\u8d44\u8d85\u8fc7\u5343\u4e07\u4ee4\u5409\u53ef\u5bb9\u7eb32\u4e07\u591a\u4e2a\u798f\u4f4d\u7684\u9aa8\u7070\u697c\u3002<strong>\u201c\u805a\u798f\u95a3\u201d<\/strong> \u4e8e2015\u5e7411\u670829\u65e5\u5f00\u5e55\u542f\u7528 \uff0c\u81f3\u4eca\u5df2\u63a8\u51fa4\u5343\u4f59\u4e2a\u798f\u4f4d\u4f9b\u5927\u4f17\u9009\u8d2d\u3002\u8fd1\u5e74\u6765\uff0c\u805a\u798f\u95a3\u5185\u4e5f\u589e\u8bbe \u201c\u836f\u5e08\u4f5b\u6bbf\u201d, \u5185\u6709\u795e\u4e3b\u724c\u4f4d\u4f9b\u5927\u4f17\u4f9b\u5949\u7956\u5148\u795e\u7075\u3002\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u6bcf\u5e74\u519c\u5386\u4e03\u6708\u5eff\u4e5d\u65e5\uff0c\u672c\u4f1a\u8fde\u540c\u5176\u4ed6\u95fd\u7c4d\u53cb\u4f1a\u5171\u540c\u4e3e\u529e\u79cb\u796d\u76db\u4f1a\uff0c\u4ee5\u8ffd\u601d\u548c\u796d\u5960\u5148\u8d24\u4ee5\u53ca\u62dc\u796d\u65e0\u55e3\u5148\u7075\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u672c\u4f1a\u5386\u5e74\u6765\u79ef\u6781\u6539\u5584\u4e49\u5c71\u7ba1\u7406\u548c\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u8fdb\u884c\u6d3b\u5316\u548c\u7f8e\u5316\u4e49\u5c71\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u79ef\u6781\u63d0\u5347\u8bbe\u65bd\u5de5\u7a0b\u3002\u5176\u4e2d\u5305\u62ec\u6e05\u9664\u4e49\u5c71\u8303\u56f4\u5185\u7684\u704c\u6728\u3001\u6742\u8349\u3001\u7b51\u6321\u6ce5\u5899\u9632\u6b62\u5d29\u584c\u3001\u6539\u5584\u6392\u6c34\u7cfb\u7edf\u3001\u52a0\u5bbd\u53ca\u4fee\u8865\u9053\u8def\u3001\u79cd\u690d\u82b1\u5349\u3001\u4fee\u526a\u5927\u6811\u53ca\u5904\u7406\u5012\u6811\u3001\u7c89\u5237\u51c9\u4ead<a>\u3001<\/a>\u6e05\u7406\u8282\u65e5\u796d\u62dc\u540e\u5927\u91cf\u7684\u796d\u54c1\u548c\u5783\u573e\u7b49\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u6bcf\u5e74\u6295\u5165\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u8d39\u7528\u9887\u5de8\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6bcf\u9022\u6e05\u660e\u65f6\u8282\uff0c\u5b5d\u5b50\u8d24\u5b59\u7eb7\u7eb7\u56de\u4e61\u626b\u5893\u796d\u7956\uff0c\u5144\u5f1f\u59d0\u59b9\u76f8\u805a\u4e49\u5c71\u62dc\u796d\u548c\u8ffd\u601d\u7956\u5fb7\u3002\u6e05\u660e\u626b\u5893\u662f\u534e\u4eba\u7684\u4f20\u7edf\u4e60\u4fd7\uff0c\u9664\u4e86\u796d\u5960\u7956\u5148\uff0c\u8fd8\u8981\u8a00\u4f20\u8eab\u6559\uff0c\u6559\u80b2\u540e\u8f88\u5b50\u5b59\u614e\u7ec8\u8ffd\u8fdc\uff0c\u8c28\u8bb0\u5148\u4eba\u4eec\u5bf9\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u517b\u80b2\u4e4b\u6069\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u6e05\u660e\u8282\u8fd8\u6709\u9616\u5bb6\u56e2\u5706<a>\u3001<\/a>\u5171\u53d9\u4eb2\u60c5\u4e4b\u610f\uff0c\u5bb6\u65cf\u957f\u8f88\u5e26\u9886\u540e\u8f88\u5171\u540c\u7b54\u8c22\u5927\u4f2f\u516c\u7167\u987e\u7956\u575f\u98ce\u6c34\uff0c\u798f\u836b\u5b50\u5b59\uff1b\u62dc\u796d\u65f6\u4eb2\u529b\u4eb2\u4e3a\u7f8e\u5316\u5893\u56ed\u3001\u51c6\u5907\u5148\u7956\u751f\u524d\u559c\u7231\u7684\u98df\u7269\uff0c\u4f9b\u54c1\u9999\u70db\u3001\u91d1\u94f6\u3001\u8863\u7269\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u4e00\u5c3d\u5b5d\u9053\uff0c\u4ee3\u4ee3\u8eab\u6559\u4f20\u627f\uff0c\u6b64\u4e43\u4e2d\u534e\u4f20\u7edf\u7f8e\u5fb7\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u672c\u4f1a\u6bcf\u5e74\u867d\u5df2\u82b1\u8d39\u5927\u91cf\u8d44\u91d1\u6e05\u9664\u4e49\u5c71\u6742\u8349\uff0c\u60df\u4e0d\u80fd\u786e\u4fdd\u6e05\u7406\u5b8c\u5584\uff0c\u5404\u626b\u5893\u8005\u53ef\u81ea\u5907\u5de5\u5177\uff0c\u81ea\u884c\u6216\u8058\u7528\u627f\u5305\u5546\u6e05\u7406\u548c\u5b8c\u5584\u5893\u7a74\u5185\u7684\u7684\u6e05\u7406\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u7531\u4e8e\u4e49\u5c71\u5883\u5185\u5bbd\u5e7f\uff0c\u6e05\u9664\u4e49\u5c71\u6742\u8349\u5de5\u4f5c\u96be\u5ea6\u4e0d\u4f4e\u3002\u5982\u9047\u5230\u96e8\u5929\uff0c\u4f4d\u7f6e\u8f83\u4f4e\u7684\u5893\u7a74\uff0c\u96be\u514d\u4f1a\u6709\u79ef\u6c34\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\uff0c\u4e3b\u5bb6\u53ef\u81ea\u5907\u5de5\u5177\uff0c\u81ea\u884c\u518d\u6e05\u7406\u3002\u800c\u6e05\u660e\u671f\u95f4\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u5bb9\u7eb3\u5927\u91cf\u7684\u8f66\u6d41\u91cf\uff0c\u90e8\u5206\u4e49\u5c71\u9053\u8def\u6539\u4e3a\u5355\u884c\u9053\uff0c\u4ee5\u786e\u4fdd\u4ea4\u901a\u987a\u7545\u3002\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u5401\u8bf7\u5404\u4f4d\u626b\u5893\u8005\u80fd\u5171\u8f66\u5230\u4e49\u5c71\u3002\u5728\u626b\u5893\u9ad8\u5cf0\u671f\uff0c\u672c\u4e49\u5c71\u5c06\u8058\u8bf7\u5fd7\u613f\u8b66\u536b\u56e2 (RELA)\u7ef4\u6301\u4e49\u5c71\u4ea4\u901a\u79e9\u5e8f\uff0c\u5404\u626b\u5893\u8005\u52a1\u5fc5\u9075\u5b88\u8b66\u536b\u56e2\u7684\u6307\u793a\u3002\u5728\u7279\u5b9a\u7684\u533a\u57df\u5df2\u51c6\u5907\u5927\u578b\u5783\u573e\u6876\u548c\u7af9\u7b50\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5783\u573e\u6536\u96c6\u7ad9\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u5927\u5bb6\u914d\u5408\u52ff\u4e71\u4e22\u5783\u573e\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u7ef4\u6301\u4e49\u5c71\u7684\u6e05\u6d01, \u8ba9\u5148\u4eba\u6709\u4e2a\u8212\u9002\u7684\u5b89\u606f\u73af\u5883\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u7531\u4e8e\u4e49\u5c71\u6d3b\u5316\u3001\u7f8e\u5316\u548c\u7ef4\u4fee\u6240\u9700\u8d39\u7528\u65e5\u6e10\u5e9e\u5927\uff0c<strong>\u4ece2023\u5e74\u5f00\u59cb<\/strong>\uff0c\u672c\u4e49\u5c71\u5f81\u6536\u6e05\u7406\u8d39<strong>\u5355\u7a7440\u4ee4\u5409<\/strong>\u3001<strong>\u53cc\u7a7470\u4ee4\u5409<\/strong>\u4f5c\u4e3a<strong>\u8d5e\u52a9\u7ef4\u4fee\u66a8\u7f8e\u5316\u6e05\u7406\u8d39\u7528<\/strong>\u3002\u672c\u4f1a\u5e0c\u671b\u798f\u5efa\u540c\u4e61\u5230\u4e49\u5c71\u6307\u5b9a\u5730\u70b9(\u5982\u805a\u798f\u95a3\uff0c\u51e4\u5c71\u5bfa\u3001\u884c\u653f\u5904\u7b49) \u81ea\u52a8\u7f34\u8d39\u4e50\u6350\uff0c\u7ee7\u7eed\u5173\u5fc3\u548c\u652f\u6301\u5c5e\u4e8e\u95fd\u4eba\u7cbe\u795e\u548c\u6587\u5316\u7684\u5821\u5792\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5e0c\u671b\u7ecf\u8fc7\u5404\u65b9\u7684\u52aa\u529b\uff0c\u4e49\u5c71\u4e0d\u518d\u662f\u8352\u8349\u840b\u840b\uff0c\u4ee4\u4eba\u751f\u754f\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u6210\u4e3a\u53cd\u6620\u534e\u65cf\u5148\u4eba\u4e3a\u5efa\u8bbe\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u800c \u201c\u751f\u4e8e\u65af\uff0c\u6b7b\u4e8e\u65af\u201d \u7684\u5b9e\u7269\u89c1\u8bc1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Cemetery and the Good Fortune Pavilion<\/strong>, under the jurisdiction of the <strong>Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association<\/strong>, the home of our Hokkien ancestors, are important treasures of Chinese spiritual and material culture.&nbsp; Over the centuries, our ancestors have pioneered and witnessed the prosperity of the Klang river valley, which embodies our ancestors\u2019 lofty spirit of perseverance in overcoming obstacles. This indomitable spirit is worthy of our praise and emulation. Future generations should continue this spirit of perseverance and contribution to the development of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 16 January 1920, the British Colonial Government gazetted an area Off Jalan Kerayong in Kuala Lumpur as a burial site for Kuala Lumpur Hokkien community and named it the<strong> Old Airport Road Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Cemetery<\/strong>. This reserve land of about 148 acres was placed under the jurisdiction of the <strong>Selangor Hokkien Association (now the Selangor &amp; Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association)<\/strong>. In the early days, one of the important tasks of the Association was to provide burial grounds for the deceased, as Chinese valued the importance of proper burial grounds for the deceased to rest in peace. &nbsp;According to our findings, the site has already been used as burial grounds well before the land was gazetted for use as a cemetery. The earliest grave was found to be built in year 1890 which indicates that the Hokkien Cemetery has been in existence for more than 130 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from several old tombs, there are also other notable memorial tombs in the Hokkien Cemetery such as the Monument to the martyred compatriots who perished during the Japanese occupation period &nbsp;and the tomb of Mr. Lim Lian Geok, a prominent Chinese educationist. Due to the shortage of the<br>burial land in the Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Cemetery, in 1956, the Government offered to the Association another 13-acre burial site at Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. This <strong>Sungai Besi Cemetery<\/strong> was opened in 1981 after active fundraising by the Association\u2019s Board of Directors.&nbsp; The Hokkien Cemetery, which has a history of more than 100 years, has not only witnessed the development of Kuala Lumpur and the Klang river valley, but also recorded the history of Hokkien community\u2019s participation in nation building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address the shortage of burial land, the Association built a columbarium with a capacity of over 20,000 urn niches at a cost of over RM10 million. The columbarium, named <strong>Good Fortune Pavilion<\/strong> was opened on 29 November 2015 and since then, an initial batch of 4,000 niches have been made available for public purchase. In recent years, a Medicine Buddha Hall which houses ancestral tablets has been added to the Pavilion. The Association also organises annual Autumn Prayer Festival together with other fellow Hokkien dialect Associations on the 29th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar to commemorate our ancestors and pay respect to the spirits of those who have no heirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the years, the Association has actively improved the management and facilities of the cemetery; revitalised, landscaped, cleared bushes &amp; weeds, removed fallen trees, built retaining walls to prevent slope failures, improved drainage, widened and repaired roads, painted the gazebos and cleaned up large amount of leftover offerings and rubbish after each Qingming festival. The basic annual expenditure to upkeep the cemetery is quite large.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On every Qingming festival, filial children and virtuous grandchildren would travel home and gather at the cemetery with their families to pay their respect to their ancestors. Tomb sweeping during the Qingming festival is a traditional Chinese cultural practice. Apart from praying to our ancestors, we also teach our off springs to pray with sincerity and recollect with gratitude our ancestors\u2019 virtues and role in nurturing us.&nbsp; Qingming festival is also a time for family reunion and sharing of family affection. The elders of the family lead the younger generations to thank \u201cTua Pek Kong\u201d for taking care of the \u201cfeng shui\u201d of the ancestral tombs in the cemetery and blessing the descendants.&nbsp; The elders would take the lead to personally sweep the tomb, beautify the surrounding and make offering of favourite food for their ancestors, burn incense, candles, paper gold and silver, clothing, etc., to fulfil their filial piety duties. This leadership by example of elders in carrying out traditional practices will hopefully be emulated and passed down from generation to generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the Association spends a lot of money every year in upkeeping the cemetery, we cannot ensure that the maintenance is perfect. &nbsp;Due to the large area of the cemetery, it is not easy to remove weeds from every nook and cranny of the cemetery. On rainy days, it is inevitable that some water and silt will accumulate in graves that are located on lower ground. Thus, it is imperative that visitors coming for prayers during Qingming should also bring their own basic tools for tombs sweeping and cleaning up. During Qingming period, some of the roads in the cemetery will be converted to one-way streets to accommodate the large volume of traffic and ensure smooth traffic flow. We appeal to all visitors to the cemetery during Qingming to practice carpooling.&nbsp; During the peak season, a RELA team will be engaged to maintain traffic order in the cemetery and visitors are advised to follow the instructions of the RELA team. Large rubbish bins and bamboo baskets are placed in specific areas to serve as rubbish collection points. We hope that everyone will cooperate in maintaining a clean and comfortable resting place for our ancestors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the increasing cost of landscaping and maintenance of the cemetery, <strong>starting from year 2023<\/strong>, <strong>a&nbsp;&nbsp; fee of RM40 &amp; RM70 for single and double grave<\/strong> respectively will be levied as contribution for maintenance and beautification of the cemetery. We hope that fellow Hokkiens will continue to care for and support the spiritual and cultural bastion of our people by making voluntary donations at the following designated places in the cemetery: Good Fortune Pavilion, Feng Shan Temple, and Administration office, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is hoped that with the involvement and efforts of all parties concerned, the cemetery will not be a daunting place, overgrown with weeds but a well landscaped, beautiful cultural heritage and a physical testimony to our ancestors who contributed to the development of Malaysia and find their clean and comfortable &nbsp;resting place here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\"
